Kim Bushnell

Kim Bushnell is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Peninsula Services, where she provides executive leadership across operations, workforce programs, affordable housing, and community-focused services that expand opportunity, stability, and independence for individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to employment and housing.

Ms. Bushnell first joined Peninsula Alliance in 2011 and later served as its Chief Executive Officer, leading affordable housing and supportive-service initiatives, including oversight of the Bill Mahan Apartments in Bremerton. She continued that work through the 2023 affiliation of Peninsula Alliance with Peninsula Services.

At Peninsula Services, Ms. Bushnell oversees the organization’s participation in the AbilityOne Program, including its grounds maintenance operations at Naval Base Kitsap. She also leads Legacy and Core Programs Department, which includes Vocational Rehabilitation, Community Programs, and affordable housing initiatives that support employment readiness, skill development, housing stability, and greater independence.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Ms. Bushnell held leadership positions in banking and real estate. That experience provided a strong foundation in financial management, strategic planning, customer service, and operational discipline that continues to shape her approach to nonprofit leadership.

Ms. Bushnell remains focused on strengthening programs, improving operations, and building partnerships that expand employment, housing, and community opportunities while supporting the long-term sustainability of Peninsula Services.
