WHICH SERVICE DO YOU NEED?
Peninsula Services focuses on the individual to help identify jobs and employers where program participants can use their talents and skills to achieve goals, make a contribution to a business, the community at large and to enrich their own lives. This is done through the following services:
Vocational Services
The Vocational Services Department is the heart and soul of Peninsula Services.
Through a variety of job placement services, our dedicated team offers a wide range of options to persons with disabilities who are referred to us from DDA, DVR, the VA and other agencies.
Our Employment Specialists are able to provide skills assessments, job placement services, PreETS contracts, or job retention services.
We have job coaches for long-term supports.

SERVMART STORES
The Servmart Stores were originally developed to help with our mission to teach marketable skills to persons with disabilities, with the end goal of employing them in community work environments. That is still the case, but the worldwide success of these stores now helps to fund our services as well.
Servmart ships a wide variety of supplies to our military men and women at locations around the world.
We are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Come visit us online or at one of our locations in Bremerton or Whidbey Island. Your purchase will be supporting our employment programs.
We would be honored to serve you! Your purchases will enable our mission to assist those with disabilities finding meaningful employment!
GROUNDs MAINTENANCE
Our Grounds Maintenance crew is equipped to handle pretty much any kind of maintenance or landscaping job you have, whether ongoing, or just a one time visit. Because we are “Competent to meet the high standards for the PSNS and Bangor Bases,” we feel confident that we can have YOUR grounds looking professional and well-kept.
As is the case with all of Peninsula Services’ programs, our award-winning Ground Maintenance Team gives great importance to providing jobs to our service veterans and persons with disabilities. Each year we provide training for dozens of individuals who are building their resume!
If you or your business has a need for grounds maintenance, please contact Sherry Gerrior at sherrieg@psgrounds.org.
COMMISSARY TEAMS
When Naval Base Kitsap Commissaries contracted Peninsula Services to stock shelves and provide custodians, they knew they had found just the right “can-do crew.”
Each and every person who comes to Peninsula Services for training develops skills that will make them a real asset to their work environment. Employees placed here learn valuable workplace practices that translate into continued employment opportunities for the future.
Our Teams at the PSNS and Sub-Base Bangor Commissaries are recognized by DeCA and the Commissary Management for the excellent jobs they do, organizing and restocking shelves and keeping the on-base stores sparkling. They are focused, fast, and do their jobs with a passion because they are proud of the work they do.
