About the Role
COMMISSARY STORE WORKER - Full-Time - Evening Shift
Where: PSNS Commissary
Type: Full Time, Regular Employee, Non-Exempt
Wage: $18.21 per hour + $4.23 health & welfare benefits
Benefits: paid sick leave, vacation, and 401(k)
Work Schedule: 5 days per week-6p.m.- 2a.m. or until work is completed

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
--Shelf Stocking - Receive, store, relocate, distribute, fill, rotate, and face shelves with stock.
--Material Handling – Ability to operate forklift-preferred, identify and transport merchandise as directed.
--Warehouse - Comply with Commissary storage procedures, maintain inventory, sorting or segregate incoming merchandise.
--Janitorial - Perform all general custodial duties at the Commissary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be able to work a rotating schedule that will include weekends.
Forklift Driver preferred Must be able to successfully complete our forklift driver training program or already have a current forklift driver’s certification.
Basic knowledge of shipping/warehouse procedures and regulations preferred.
At least two years’ experience as a warehouse team member preferred.
Must be able to read and write English fluently.

This position is categorized as an “essential job,” and all COVID-19 pandemic-related safety requirements MUST be followed, for example the use of PPE including masks.
Basic Requirements:
Must successfully complete federal and state background checks, pre-employment drug screening. and provide evidence of your qualification to work in the US and on a military base.
Valid State Driver’s license required and clean driving record with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by our insurance company.
All employees must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, unless a documented medical or religious exemption is approved.
