Job Placement

The community job placement program of Peninsula Services matches trained individuals with specifically identified jobs in the community that are appropriate to both the employer’s needs and to the individual’s abilities.

To the individual participant, this program is, important as a qualified placement specialist will assists him/her in developing an individualized vocational program that may include career exploration, resume assistance, interview skills, employer contacts, one-on-one job coaching, travel training, vocational counseling, personal finance budgeting and long-term follow along after a job is acquired.

Business Partners receive benefits such as pre-screened employees who are very motivated to work, no cost training for the employee, post-employment follow-along and tax incentives and benefits available as a result of hiring persons with disabilities.
